My Own Robot  

From Idea to Product | The Entrepreneurial Cycle in Action

Inspired by the journey of Rice Robotics, students go from identifying a real-world problem to designing, engineering, and presenting a custom-built robot. Ideal for schools that want a full hands-on project following an entrepreneurial talk or seminar.
Activity: Students brainstorm their own product idea, 3D print components, wire up circuits, and bring their robot to life. - Take-away skills: Product design, mechanical engineering, basic electronics

Learn to code and automate their robot to solve daily challenges. 

Take-away skills: Programming logic, computational thinking.

🎤 Final presentation encourages storytelling, iteration, and real-world reflection.

Duration: 15–25 lessons (1 hour per lesson)
Class Size: 30 students per class

Sense AI – Co-Developed with Global AI Leader SenseTime

10 Hours / ≤HKD 50,000

Created in collaboration with SenseTime, a world-renowned AI company listed and partnered with MIT, Honda, and Qualcomm. This programme gives students early exposure to cutting-edge AI technologies that power smart cities, autonomous driving, and facial recognition.

Students explore how AI sees the world—image recognition, object tracking, facial detection—using both block-based tools and Python. 

Take-away skills: Visual computing, object detection, AI fundamentals

Program gesture recognition systems and facial detection features using real-world AI techniques.

Take-away skills: Programming, machine learning logic, responsible AI understanding

AI Creator

The Ultimate AI + Robotics Challenge

This programme combines AI knowledge from the Sense AI course with the hardware/software skills from My Own Robot. Students learn Python and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to build a voice-controlled RICE mini.

Program a custom AI model for voice interaction, integrate with hardware, and develop smart robotics functions. - Take-away skills: Python coding, NLP, AI deployment, sensor control
Activity: Students explore the intersection of software, hardware, and AI—culminating in an interactive final showcase. - Take-away skills: AI Literacy, LLM, Machine Learning, Prompt Engineering, Embedded System.
💡 Great for upper primary and secondary students ready for a deeper tech challenge.

Duration: 20–30 lessons (1 hour per lesson)
